Transparency starts at the top. As your next Chairman, I commit to you, the STAKEHOLDERS of our Oklahoma Republican Party, that you will have access to our financial records.  Serving as elected county Treasurer for over two decades, I am quite comfortable with transparency in my financial operations. I had over 40 audits performed on my office while I served as Treasurer, all performed by the State Auditor and Inspector, all beyond reproach. I will be providing complete, quarterly financial statements to your respective budget committee representatives. I will remove any barrier that would possibly create any appearance of impropriety or financial malfeasance. 

We will implement financial safeguards and internal controls that will help protect our party from any potential future liability. It is imperative that we deploy a sound business model, designed to provide continuity between administrations, while ensuring the integrity of all party business operations. Strong internal controls will help stave off any potential financial misuse or negligence. It should be standard operating procedure, implemented through party rules, that any party leadership dealing directly with party finances, should not only have to carry errors and omissions insurance, but they should also be bonded for the duration of their leadership term. We should have standard operating procedures that are deployed across all county parties and transfer seamlessly between administrations. 

We are creating action committees to address key issues and promote important legislative initiatives. None more important than our current taskforce that is actively recruiting and engaging leaders and grassroots advocates across the state in a coordinated effort to defeat State Question 836. Soon we will deploy our advocates statewide to engage, educate and mobilize the people. Do you have a passion for advocacy? We are committed to providing continuous training and educational opportunities in order to support county chairs, party officers and precinct officials. We will work with local leaders, as well as national trusted organizations, to help ensure we are offering the newest and most cutting-edge resources to those on the front lines. We want to ensure candidates, advocates and party officials are prepared to be effective leaders in their respective communities. It is time we have a viable bench of qualified Conservative Republicans ready to run for office across the state of Oklahoma in every level of government.
