Oklahoma United is a well-organized group with very deep pockets circulating an initiative petition in Oklahoma. DECLINE TO SIGN! 

THEIR PURPOSE: to implement California style jungle primary elections in our state. THEIR TARGET: our closed Oklahoma Republican Primary elections. 

The goal of this initiative is to force the Republican Party of Oklahoma to open their closed primary elections to ALL REGISTERED VOTERS, putting all candidates on the same ballot, listing their party affiliation.  We have seen the results of these California style "jungle primary" elections, just look at our newly elected Tulsa Mayor, Monroe Nichols.  Unfortunately, Oklahoma United SQ836 brings a significant number of Republicans have joined the Democrats and Independents in this violation of our sacred rights, these are the real RINO's. OKC Mayor David Holt, Tulsa Mayor (fmr) GT Bynum and Labor Commissioner Leslie Osborn (all Republicans) have been traveling around the state pushing this liberal nonsense.  In order to defeat this ballot initiative, we must ALL work together, sharing a clear, concise and unified message. 

It wasn't all that long ago that Oklahoma was a blue state, where nearly every elected office was held by a Democrat. The supermajority we currently enjoy is in serious jeopardy. This method is the only way they can ensure victory to liberal candidates. They seek to moderate the Republican party, silence our collective conservative voices and impact the composition of our state legislature. 

As of right now, SQ 836 is slated to appear on the general election ballot in November of 2026, along with our gubernatorial and other statewide general elections.
